In the spirit of the holiday season, Build Now, the St. Bernard Project, the Make It Right Foundation, Project Homecoming, Project Home Again and the New Orleans Area Habitat for Humanity are teaming up to present a Gingerbread House Building Competition at the New Orleans Healing Center! This past year, these non-profits collectively built and rehabbed over 200 homes, significantly impacting the lives of the homeowners and the local economy, while dramatically reducing the blighted properties in our city’s neighborhoods.  What better way to celebrate the families they helped return, their volunteers, and supporters, than a big ‘ole holiday bash. Proceeds from the event will ensure these organizations help even more families in 2013, because they couldn’t do it without your support!

Expect celebrity judges, prizes, a raffle, and much more! Dress is casual. Event is open to the public. Drinks and food will be provided. Fun is guaranteed.
